Actually, I meant AMT 1968 Mustang. Thanks for the info. I will check for those pictures. I did find a current 1968 AMT model kit at hobby lobby. But the wheels were the glue on type not rolling, also I noticed that the interior didnt have a seperate tub interior like the vintage one I have, which basically gets glued onto the bottom chassis.

Are you talking about a Ford Mustang, or an American Motors AMX. The AMX went into production as a 1968 model year introduced in the fall of 1967.

Google search 1967 Mustang and several sights have an array of color photos. the side shots will show you the wheels. What scale is the model? There are kits of the 67 and the 68 from which the wheels can be taken in 1/25th or 1/24 scale. The axels can be brass rod or piano wire, both of which are available in hobby shops..

I'm re-furbishing a pre-built vintage AMX 1967 Mustang. I need to know what the most popular exterior/interior colors and wheel options were for this year. I want axels with rolling wheels and want to know where I can buy new axels with rolling wheels to match the 1967 model year .Cool [8D]
