Hello,

Have you made any progress on your model since you posted? I am very interested in building my own Brave (left hand drive, however), and would like some info on how you designed and built the body and interior. Do you have any planes drawn up? If so, would you consider selling me a copy?

Hi, I just joined so i can let you know. The winnebago in Spaceballs is 1986 Chieftain, 33 ft.. I have drawn up some basic blueprints for it and a paper model pattern to work out the details on. I've drawn it in 1/64 scale so I can use rosco military tires and parts. If anyone wants copies of what I've already got done let me know. I still have some fine tuning on the drawings but they are a good start.

Hi
On the subject of WINNEBGOS I have collected info on the Brave-1970s model, I am using a Ford Louisville/ Amt chassis. Have used brochure and photos to produce a simple plan to run to. Looks like I might have to re draw the plans ready to be emailed out. They are for a 24 ft "right hand drive model" no such thing I know but this is for me, after all I am from the UK, and we do drive on the left. I will try and help with info, and I will try to work out how to post photos....Good Luck to everybody with there project Winnes.
( probaly shouldn't ' mention this but have posted on scale auto site)

Only one I ever saw (want to do this project too) was an old Tonka one which, if you can find one now, is extremely expensive.

Good luck.

You could try visiting a RV dealership and see about getting plans. Seeing as how they are something that you can customize a bit might be a easy way of getting them.
