I`m tempted to bid for an item that`s on eBay at the moment but am not sure wether my modelling skills are high enough.

The doner kit is an Italeri DAF95 with a Kitform Services resin Scammell Crusader (4 or 6 wheel version) conversion kit.

I have no problems at all with boxstock Itaeries or Revells or a little scratch building but have never ever handled resin .

On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, how would you rate this proposed build?

Not sure if your concern here is the kit or the fact that it is resin. If it's only the resin that's worrying you I'd say have a go at it. There's a lot of junk talked about working with resin and I've found that a lot of it is unfounded. Preparation takes longer but it's tough stuff and easier to correct mistakes than plastic. Just make sure you thoroughly wash off the mold release and away you go. I'd certainly go for it - you're not going to know until you try after all.

This was my first crack at a resin kit.
