Finally finished Enzo
Posted by Daveash on Saturday, May 14, 2005 7:55 PM
Here are the results of my 2nd attempt at the Tamiya Enzo (1st model is an internal version, totally wrecked the body painting!). I generally work on armour, so this has been a challenge to keep it clean. I hold my hands up to auto modellers with the quality that they achieve on the final finish.
This kit is painted in Tamiya rattle can Italian red and carefully polished with auto-body wax.

This was my first serious auto build, but I enjoyed the challenge and have more in the pipeline.

Comments and advice most welcome.

Clean, indeed! That's a nice looking car. I think you did really good on the carbon fiber decals. I've got the yellow version, but I haven't had the courage to tackle it yet.

Great build. The small details you added really made a difference.

The work you did on the engine is excellent. Where exactly did the carbon fibre come from? Is it a decal or already on the kit piece? I must say that is beautiful. Blush [:I]

Dude thats one sweet Enzo i like the engine bay, and well done with the carbon fibre we all know that can be tricky on an Enzo! hehe Heres a few of my Enzo i call it 'the beast' the pics were taken while in final assembly and stage 1 clear coat. The finish looks alot better now after about a weeks worth of wax and polishing :( but well worth it.

Keep up the good work dudes.
