HEY,
I asked this at another forum and thought i would try here too. I am looking for a pickup teuck that i would be able to turn into a lowrider. It is a project i have been wanting to do for some time but i havnt been able to find a good enough truck. Thanks for any help.

Randy

Hey Randy,
are there any years or makes that inerest you? revell put out a "custom" truck with a wave runner, with a little work on the suspension it would look good down in the weeds. also the mid 70's chev pick up would work nicely as a lowrider.
about anything released would be good fodder for a low rider project. happy hunting and post some pics when you are done.

Have you checked out the F-150 Lightning kit by Revell-Monogram? It's not a lowrider but it is 'customized' already. Depending on how confident you are in your kit-bashing abilities that one might be a good base kit. As far as I know there are no lowrider truck kits out there. So any kit you choose will have to be 'modified' to some extent. Good luck.

There is the lowrider S-10 by revell, could be a good donor chassis.
also they did the lowrider thing to the elcamino model. both are more pricee than thier stock counter parts, but here in Mn we have micheals crafts , and they run 40 to 50 % off coupons most weeks so it helps take a bite out of te cost. toy liquidator, a K&B toy outlet also had the S-10 for around $6.00.
