Yes, matter of fact, I did this, this weekend.
I chromed a muffler with Alclad II and, wanting it to stay nice and shiney, spraycoated it with Tamiya Clear, which reacted badly with the Alclad. I repainted the muffler and then tried coating it with Future.
It worked great.
