Hi, A while back you described how you did the gold lining on your fire truck. Can you remember where it was posted by any chance?
I`ve spent ages trying to track it down. Tx.

I have it on the build log for the truck. Look about halfway down the page.

I'm impressed anyone remembered it. Big Smile [:D]

Once seen - who could forget it? Bow [bow]Bow [bow]Tongue [:P]

I found your log and hadn`t realized that you had used styrene strips. I feel a lot more confident at tackling this job (especially as all my truck surfaces are flat) now that I know the lines are not painted straight onto the surface.
Many thanks for your help. Jim.

No problem Jim. The only thing that I did not like about how mine turned out was when you look close there is a bit of a ridge. Not sure if there is thinner styrene than what I used.
