Geoffmcm - Sorry for the delayed response.

I'd be happy to make a copy of the instruction book and send you the .PDF via email. As long as you don't use dial-up, you should be able to down load it without any trouble.

No charge.

Wow - fantastic job !

I have a Rosso 643 in bits, bought it that way a few years back. I now have the time to build it, but can't find my instruction book. Would you consider either selling yours, or maybe copying it and selling me a copy...?

email address - enzo_4_ever@hotmail.com

Yes.... I am a crazy fan of Enzo Ferrari and all the magic that has came out of his factory over the years...

Regards
Geoff

Thank you Zokissima. I'm hoping I can do justice to the next one - the 1982 Ferrari 126 C2.

Nope Audio - I don't work for Ferrari. Their logo is just very easy to reproduce and it scales well.

Rad - I thought about keeping it, but don't have anywhere to put it. It's going to be displayed at a friend's house. He loves F1 cars. I'll go pick it up when I'm preparing for a show.

Thanks TJ and Yard. I'm glad you like it.

I don't even know what to say ... I just got into modeling cars about a month ago, after doing aircraft for a long time. And I thought I was pretty good at my planes, too! Your project blew me away ... the impeccable attention to detail really brings it to life. Makes for something really fun to look at, if nothing else.
Wow.

Oh yeah, I saw the Ferrari logos everywhere and wondered if you work for Ferrari or something. Just curious.

You know, Ferrari might want top dollar for that bad boy! Shoot with craftsmanship like that, though, I'd want to keep it to rub into everyone's faces!

There just are not words in the dictionary to describe the quality of your Ferrari. It certainly does look realistic. The diorama is phenomenal in detail and quality of work. It looks more like a 10 YEAR project than 10 months.

I don't usually look through the auto threads as I'm an aviation guy. Come on, tell the truth, those are photo's of the real thing, right? I've been staring at it and I just can't believe it's a model! Simply amazing! Andy, you are the man!Cool [8D]Thumbs Up [tup]

Yes vapo - that is the Rosso kit. And if you can get one on eBay for $500, I'd do it immediately. In fact, anything under $1,000 is a pretty good deal.

Niclas - you are too kind and I'm sorry to hear about your chin and computer desk.

Next up is a 1:8 scale 1982 Ferrari 126 C2. Should be a real monster. As I built the 643 to look like a runner (all scuffed and scratched), the 126 C2 is going to be built to look like a museum piece (all shiny and polished). Should be a lot of fun and quite interesting as this kit has no plastic on it whatsoever. The entire project will be done in metal (aluminum , cast stainless and brass), carbon fiber and fiberglas. I'll be posting pics on my web site as work progresses.

Well, what can I say? Just about nothing that will do this amazing build justice. I took a look at your site and browsed through the building process. As of today I need some plastic surgery to my chin and a new computer desk. The old one got smashed up by my constantly dropping jaws.
Enough of this rambling, this is way over my ability and I'm just amazed what can be done with the right knowledge.
What's next? Doesn't matter! It will be just as amazing as the Ferrari.

Thank's for sharing!
Niclas

Simon - I used BASF automotive paint (with LOTS of airbrush thinner)) and finished it with a two-component clearcoat. I highly recommend the BASF. It went on well, cleaned up easy and responded beautifully to a final buff and polish.

You mean you did all that in 10 months! Phenomenol work - quality through and through. I don't quite know how you achieve such a perfect finish but I do know I couldn't even come close. The workshop setting is also phenomenol and I just love the chalked rotation notation on the tyres. You blew me away!!Bow [bow]Bow [bow]Bow [bow]
