Hi all!
It seems that the time for plastic modeling is going to get even more scarce than it was a couple of days ago.
Yesterday morning, 18/7 at 04.59 our daughter Felicia was born in a hurry! So Adrian and Simon got themselves a baby sister.
Long awaited and most wanted by us, Niclas and Ulrica...the parents.

Niclas, tired but happy father of three.

Our first is due in Novemember. I look around and see a number of people carting these 1/4 or 1/6 scale humans around, and everyone seems okay. Smile [:)]

She's beautiful.

Wow, I can't see any seams! And the paint job is extraordinary, looks like real skin!

Congratulations to you and your wife. It's always nice when a group build turns out so beautiful...

So long folks!

Congratulations Proosen.

Just out of curiosity, did the sweater come with the original kit or was that an aftermarket piece?

The sweater is an aftermarket piece as there was no decals, fabrics or anything in the original delivery. Just the basic kit and nothing else, I think it will take a lifetime of work to get this one and the other two in some sort of presentable condition. Hmm....wonder what I got in to?

That wrinkled look will appear faster than she want's I guess. As far as I know zimmerit was never used in Sweden so I thought that it would look strange to put it on an all Swedish build Smile [:)]

Thank you and good luck to both of you and your families!
You are about to go on a journey you never believed to be true, life will never be the same again. No matter what you've heard from others, don't believe it...it has to be experienced by yourself.

Looking forward to see a pic on your upcoming figurines.

Niclas,
Why are you tired, your wife did all the work?
If you think you are tired now, wait 13 to 15 years (teenager)!
She is absolutely beautiful. The best wishes to you and your family. You have every right to be proud, and thank you for sharing this wonderful news with us.

Thank you all!
She gave us a bit of a fright though as she fell to the floor during her birth. All seemd fine and the doctor sent us home.
A couple of days later the tiny bump on her head wasn't that tiny anymore and we went back to the hospital again.
After the x-ray a scull fracture Boohoo [BH] was discovered on the right side of her head and further examinations was applied. No bleedings in the brain area due to the fracture being wide and open. Most of the blood gathered on the outside of the skull not causing any problems for here despite an odd head shape Confused [%-)]
Mother and daughter was held at the hospital for observation 1½ day and I could get them home again three days ago...phew Big Smile [:D]
Anyway, she is eating, sleeping and does all other things she is supposed to and on wednesday we will take her to the doctors again to check her up and see if she is gaining weight as she's supposed to.
The fracture is healing well as far as I can tell, you can actually feel the new bone forming and we keep an constant eye on that as per instuctions from the doctor.

See you all in cyberspace

Well, I really didn't want to be a smart a$$ and joke about this, but seeing that she is ok, I will go ahead. I think you can repair the fracture with some Squadron white putty, that should do nicely. Seriously, congrats and good luck.
