Nice and clean! Well done!

I like the way you photographed the Renault. Do you use an all-white background or how did you do it?

And yeah, show off that engin!

Looks fabulous Mathew, just one suggestion - negative camber on the rear wheels of the 110. Many of the photos of the car I've seen show a touch of negative even when standing still.

Two just-finished projects

I just finished a couple of car projects and thought I'd share.

The first is Tamiya's Alpine Renault. It's the car that won the 1971 Alpine rally:

It's a full-detail kit (complete with engine) built straight from the box. The kit decals are by Cartograf, and are the nicest ones I've ever worked with. My battles with decals are legendary, but these went on perfectly.

At the other end of the spectrum (on many levels) is this one, Revell's 1963 Corvette roadster. It's a snap-together curbside kit, with around 35 parts. I detailed it with Model Car Garage's photoetch set and a bunch of Bare-Metal Foil, but other than that it's pretty much box-stock. Don't let the kit's snap-together status fool you -- it's very accurate and a real sweetie to build.

I hope you like them!
