1:1 sounds nice heh. did a ferrari interior and they wanted it 10:1 that was kinda rough. so I just painted it red :p. artistic liscense I say. loved it :)

1:1 should be easy enough to get right though.

though from what Im seeing; they want a satin finish gunmetal. since thats gunmetal mixed with flat base. might just try baby powder or something; read somewhere that would make tamiya paints flat. I might be making that up.

You got it. Mix paint color X-10 and X-21 in a 1:1 ratio.

i am building my sixth tamiya 1/12 motocycle kit, and i have been constantly presented with equations such as x-10:1+x-21:1. usually i have reference pics, so i go with the colors that most match my reference pics. but for this particular bike i cannot find any photos, and so i am at a standstill with these 'paint equations'! does this mean to mix the paints in this ratio. or is it something else that i havent figured out? i am almost embarassed to ask, being that i am six kits in, but i need to know. can anyone help me? i come from bandai gundam kits and i never came across something like this with those...
