Well, as I thought the ghost effect didn't show up. But I'll leave it as is and go on with the clear coats now as I'm pretty satisfied with the results anyway.
Here's a mock up with some AMG/OZ wheels in Alclad Magnesium. As Chrysler today is owned by Mercedes I think it's a neat idea to use some of their racing stuff on this old warrior.

Not a very good pic, but it'll do for the moment. At least it gives an idea about my intentions on this build.

To late it's alread on!
Here we go again, don't know what's wrong with me!?
I have actually made some progress in the last couple of days [:0]
I decided to go for the checkers on the fenders. Now it's just to put on a couple of more coats Sapphire blue and see what happens. The goal is to have the bodywork done in a couple of days from now because then I'll go on vacation to the summer house for 4 weeks.

Got an idea and thought that I should make some kind of checkerd look on the rear panel. Gold is the colour of my choice and then fade them out towards the door. Took a while to put the tape on but I didn't want to ruin the surface with a knife. Now I can just leave it for a while and kind of get the feel for it and stil be able to remove them without a trace.
Maybe I'll mist some more Sapphire blue over the gold and give them some kind of ghost apperance.
Let me know what you people think, in the end I will do as I like anyway but it's always nice to here other peoples opinion Wink [;)]

Proosen - that paint job looks great. Love the color.

I'm just the opposite though, I can't have more than one project going at a time. I tend to throw myself totally and completely into a build and I don't think about anything else until the build is complete.

Looks very nice , I have the same problem i have lots of projects going on at once. Mostly because lack of supplies and lack on money to buy supplies. Sucks cause i got tons of time while i am off too.

Just started project number one zillion :screwy: Don't know why I can't finish one without starting another?
Anyway, a couple of nights work and this is what I got. A Sapphire blue Prismatic bodywork. Stil no clear coats on, maybe tonight?
There is going to be a new standard in slow updates so don't expect to see something very soon.
