That stuff sucks, huh? Actually over the years I've gotten pretty good using the stuff. The First mistake your making is using glue. I 've found that for best results use an enamel paint similar to the color flocking you're using. Put on a pretty good coat of paint in approx. 1" x 1" sections. Use a metal kitchen strainer for application. place the flocking material in the strainer and hold about an inch over the model. Take your hobby knife or similar tool and tap the side of the mesh strainer. Comes out effortlessly. Make sure you put a pretty heavy coat of flocking, let it sit for 30-45 minutes, shake it of and start the next section. Works perfectly. By the way, use a piece of white paper for a drop cloth. After shaking of the model, use the paper and funnel it back into the container. That stuff goes along way if done right. I usually get about 6 models out of one package of flocking. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Wow! Being a Wingy-thing kind of guy I'd always wondered how they got those carpets to be so realistic-looking! I have a Fujimi Toyota Crown that came with it out of the box but my attempts at putting carpeting in a Chevy Caprice with some matarial didn't turn out that well.

I have tried 3 times with flocking, producing disastrous results.I tried Straight white glue, thinned white glue & Hi-tack gasket adhesive.Wnile all adhesives worked,It's dispensing the flocking that i have the problem.I've used bothmodel car garage & detail master flock, but no matter what I try it comes out in pea size clumps. Is there a better way to disperse it in a thinner, more grainy way like when i do fine turf for my dioramas ?All help will be greatly appreciated.
