You got it. the covers on these cases, (AMT I think) don't stay on for diddly. And then you go to move them, the cover pops off, the model goes falling, and you get to repair a kit, instead of building a new one. (Ask me how I know...Laugh [(-D])

Thanks!

It's "blu-tack" the stuff teachers use to hang posters in their classrooms. I use this in the display case, instead of wire. I've found the wire can be pretty hard on delicate plastic parts as you run it through. It works good for holding the cars in place if you move the cases around as you dust or rearrange the shelf, etc. But, if you are doing an actual House Move, they won't keep them in place for that.

I also use "blu-tack" to hold small items down when I paint them or hold them on the end of dowels/tweezers, etc, as I paint.

Okay, so here's my entry for the Muscle Car GB. Don't tell anyone I built it 7 years ago. It's a secret!!Mischief [:-,]Laugh [(-D]

The car is a 1970 Olds Rallye 350, which was my first car. Bought the real one in 1976, 66K miles, paid $1600.00 for it. And as usual, wish I still had it......

The kit is a combination of the (I think) MPC kits. One was the 1970 Olds 442 and the other was the 1969 442 (supplied the spoiler and wheels). The decals are from Fred Cady. The hood is not correct, as the the black stripes should be surrounding twin hood scoops, but, no one had that particular hood at the time and I was too lazy to scratch one. The interior is missing a few Rallye 350 details, but, I was going for the overall effect.
