                        HEy guys,has anyone used klear on alclad chrome?
                        So what was the effect?

                        Why would you want to clear coat the crome finish? I have a few crome painted (alclad) bumpers that are several years old and do not see any signs of the finish deteriorating.

                        putting a clear coat over a chrome actually dulls the finish. I've done it alot and learned the hard way.
