Stock Car Building/Detailing Guide?

Guys:

Hi! I'm normally an armour builder but a friend of mine asked me to build an old Monogram Bobby Allison Miller Highlife Buick Regal for him and I need help doing the detailing. I seem to remember seeing a magazine sized "how to" manual on building/detailing Stock cars a while ago - maybe it was by Fine Scale? Does anyone know the title of it, if it's still available, and where?

Also, the kit decals aren't usable, is there anyplace I can look to find replacements?
