Jim Hall's 1966 Chaparral 2E Las Vegas Winner

I just finished Fisher Model's Chaparral 2E. It is a beautiful kit and easy to boot.
I decided to weather as it looked after the '66 Las Vegas race which it won. All the years of building military aircraft models helped.

Nice model. I was (am) a big fan of Jim Hall and his Chaparrals.

So long folks!

Nice. Approve [^]Approve [^] Like Bgrigg I'm also a fan of those Chaparrals.

What was the Fisher kit like to build? A typical resin kit or were there some difficult bits?

Beautiful Chaparral. I just love those 60s vintage race cars. Very well done.

Fisher kits are the easiest to build. They are basically made to be built in a weekend. However the results are spectacular as the fit is so easy that I assembled mine with elmer's glue. Rene'
