Those wheels do look nice. Maybe think about keeping them. Nice job!

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I have been away from the hobby for a couple of years, and just got the bug again recently. This Impala sat in drawer unfinished for almost 3 years. I just dug out the rest of my collection, if yall want to see some of them let me know.

In the meantime, here's some more car porn:

i thought it was real to. That first pic is tricky, looks like a photo from the late 60's for some reason, i guess it just makes you think of that era with the car and all?

VERY NICE!!!
I'd keep the rims as they are. They fit the car well I think.

Nice! It's a cool thing to build what you've driven in real life. Thanks for sharing!

Here's my Revellogram 64 Impala. The paint is Tamiya red with their clear on top of that. I changed the supplied 327 around a bit to depict a 283 2-barrel like the one I had. Engine is fully wired and plumbed, and detailed right down to the little aluminum heatshields around the sparkplugs. I also used a PE detail set for the grille and emblems. The rims are temporaries until I figure out what I think looks the best.
