1957 Nomad... to restore or not to restore.

I have not seen that kit for ages. It is an interesting subject and a rare kit. Poly-S makes a paint remover that works really well and does not harm the plastic. It could be worth the effort if you like the subject. Just my thoughts.

However you look at it, the '57 is a classic.  Go for it.
Strip the paint, polish the heck outta the glass, Bare Metal Foil the chrome trim, airbrush a new paint scheme........it'll be a winner.

And if you can't be bothered restoring the thing, I'll buy it from you!

I think it looks good for being 20 years in storage. However, if you have time on your hands go for it and redo it.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll concentrate on an exterior fix up, the paint job is the only thing that really ruins it, the glass and inside is fine. I'm currently working on a '60 Bonneville and a '62 Impala so the Nomad will have to go onto the back burner for the time being but stay tuned...
