Nascar decals / detailing
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, July 26, 2003 9:39 PM
Looking for #7 Sirius decals for a replica project I'm embarking on using the #40 Coors light car from Revell. Anyone know of a source for these?

I've been collecting kits (and dust) for a few years now, and am finally getting into starting to build again; but box stock doesn't do it for me, now I have this incredible urge to detail down to return springs and brake rotors. Anyhow, I'd appreciate if anyone could share any detailing tips, as I'm a little rusty and will need to get back into the swing of things.

Guess it's been awhile but I'm not overly impressed with the kit from Revell, it's going to take a good bit of work to really make it authentic; Opening the decklid, removing the screw supports in the body and chassis, making functional suspension, etc.

And you know it's been along time when the last store kit you bought was $6.99 [:0]

no dice...yet. Maybe the plan to put them out yet, but with Sirius just dropping sponsership for next year, maybe not.

You might try NASCALS; I believe he has the decal you're looking for listed on his site. I haven't used them, so I can't give you any details on quality, etc. Here is the link:
