Hi to all!

Ive been thinking about the 1/16 ferrari f-40 by fujimi for a while now

but Im afraid that there might be some fit problems with the body.

Has anybody gone thru this?

I haven't built this kit, but from my experiance with other Fujimi kits, I would beware. Look for some reviews online, or you might try www.scaleautomag.com for some more info. Good luck Rafael!

i am currently building the fujimi 1/16 scale Lamborghini Countach LP500S and i love it.  great fit and the detail is incredible.  only thing is that there are no decals.  i would assume the f40, one of my favorite all time cars to be similar.  i say go for it.  it's such a large scale that if there are fit problems they can be remedied easily.  i will post pics of my lambo soon.

I Did this kit. the kit is near perfect for everything except the doors. They need quite a lot of work.

You can see some pictures here: http://models.magietec.com/gallery/v/Street/F40/

I just got the kit a few weeks ago! But thats only because my brother gave me a gift cheque from the hobby shop. So I only paid less than whole price.

Anyway, overall it looks like a good kit. It could use some extra detail for its size like some photoetch parts? Its a shame that some details at the front such as the front suspension, radiator etc. wont be seen because the front is fixed to main body and cant be raised like the real thing. Im tempted to do some major operation but it wont be easy..... Definitly, it wont be red! Oh, by the way; for those who dont know yet; it gives you the option for fixed or opening pop-up lights! GREAT!

i know what you're saying about the doors.  on my lambo, the doors were all warped out of shape.  luckily i was able to remedy the problem by softening them with a blow dryer and moving them into place.

Rafael - there is a PE detail set for this kit

I found this one at HLJ Tokyo who, annoyingly, are out of stock at present but I'm sure if you search some of the larger suppliers you'll find one elsewhere.

Good luck - Martin

Well, What I did with mine: I put the doors on the body, used masking tape to make them fit in place and leaving it like that 1 week placed near a window with the sun.

Beside that, everything was a nice fit.
