That model ship in the UK is amazing, they had most of the models I was
looking for, but they were "available to order" which is fine by me, I
am a patient man.
That is a little unfortunate about the problems with the consistency of
the resin parts. However, Le Mans minatures sell two cars that I
am DYING to have in my possession, the Peugeot 905 and the Jaguar
XJR-14- and this company not only sells them, but sells them with
opening components!
My only question is that if the engine cover is removed does that mean
you can "put it on" and it still looks good, or is it still meant to be
an exploded model.
But that link you gave me is perfection over at Scale Auto. I am
a diecast fan that is kind of losing interest. The models are
getting less detailed and more expensive, and not providing me with the
rewards that building a model will.
