Sauber C22 with more pics at the bottom
Posted by Chatterer on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 11:33 AM

After working on and off again on cars, I am a big F1 fan I have come back to them with this the Revell 1/24 Sauber C22 http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_1008.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_1009.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_1010.jpg just put the decals on yesterday, the decals were easy to work with no air bubbles or anything Most of the car is going to be built up later on today. Still need to decal the rear wing and barge boards. I have put in about 20 hours of work so far and is my favorite car right now.

Sounds like its coming along to. I have the Enzo on hold right nowSad [:(] I got all of the undercarrige together, and when I started having trouble painting it, I put it back in the box for another time. Maybe its time to get it out???

A very fine build. Certainly one to be proud of. You wouldn't know it was the Revell kit.

Thanks, It almost did not happen the rear wing broke apart on me and was a pain to get fixed back again, I was so mad I could not work on the kit for a day. Here are some more pics learned on other forum that the right wheels were backwards so I fixed that. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_1055.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_1053.jpg and for fun here it is next to my first F1 car http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c353/Char-88/IMG_1058.jpg

Pics seem to have gone walk-abouts - can't see them either! Recently build it too and it was a very fun build. DaveT, you can get in and build - the kit does not have funnies to it, just prepare and prefit and it should turn out a lovely model! A much cleaner/easier build than some of their earlier efforts.
