when i see many of us build (factory stock ) cars of the 60's thru 80's
i see 3 color choices for the chassis but there is a 4th not many people think about
i see 1 flat black
2 body color
3 gloss black
the 4th color should be textured black
in those days it was VERY popular to get your car aftermarket rust proofed the whole underside what sprayed with what was basically a thinned out roof coating type material similar to a rubber cement
it was of rough gritty texture that would make stock models from that time period look IMHO more realistic
i guess it is from a time when only us old people remember
