Ok well I tried it on the body parts, minus the body which I'll paint when I have some more time, but so far the color does look pretty good. :)

it would be fine,  everyday somewhere someone is restoring a classic and adding newer touches new colors new sound systems etc

I think it would look fine.

One word of caution though...

If you never used that color, it ends up looking a definite purple.

I sprayed a '67 GTO for my wife that color. She liked the one in the movie xXx and thought the Black 'n Blue Pearl would look nice. We thought it would be darker, more of a blue not a purple.

I wish we could get accurate color samples.  Sad [:(]
