I wish they would put out morre trucks too. Especially some old Dodge 4 door trucks. I'd like some new kits of some Big Rigs not just rereleases of the old outdated ones. BUT we will get some new version of the same Tiger tank again.

Market analyses? I was never asked by anyone what I'd like to see... Shock [:O] LOL

How popular is American 4x4's over in Germany?

Actually, how popular is any American vehicle over in Germany?

I'll email all manufacturers, but I'm not holding my breath... Tongue [:P]

I received an e mail from Revell of Germany about maby produceing some late model pickup trucks and was informed " that the selection of new models is based on a variety of criteria, including of course market analyses. we do our best to offer a comprehensive range covering various themes."

This means only one thing....people who would like to see late model pickup trucks should e mail them asking to include their proposal for these models, maby if enough e mails are received they may start developing some designs....let's hope   Karl

I would love to see something else for the 4X4'ers in a scale model form. Most of the stuff I see are OLD jeeps (military issues that are way too small) a old scout, and a bronco, and a lot of street trucks. ie. lightning, 70's chevy, F-150's, not exactly an offroaders first choice when play time comes around. I would LOVE to see a regular cherokee (you know the one the liberty killed off stupid chrysler) or maybe one of the newer full sized ford, dodge, chevies. one day :(

I would be interested in some. Maybe some semi trucks that we see on the road everyday. I have found 3 diffrent models of the Ford Ranger, but yet, no extended cab. The dually was nice, as you could make it to haul a show car or something, but other than the F-150 4x4 pickup that AMT did a few years ago, they are pretty scarce. Oh, there is the RM Ford Lightning in the line up. We should start a pick up truck GB?

Well  Jim, due to the overwhelming lack of response on this topic I guess no one is intrested if there are these kits, too bad because it would be fun to create a really great vehicle with custom accessories and such, thanks. Karl

I too was wondering why I can't find a better selection of pickup trucks. There's a few out there, but I'd rather have some late model quad/crew cabs to build.

I sit here all day watching and listening to logging trucks rumble by, there's models of them. But like you said Karl, where's all the other types of trucks out there?

There's a boom in pickups, SUV's and work vehicles on the road, you would think the kit manufacturers would start tooling some kits.

Wishful thinking I guess...

Is just me or has anyone else noticed that there's an absence of late model quad cab and extended cab pickup model trucks ? from all makes Ford, Chevy, Dodge etc and these are the most popular vehicles on the road next to SUV's which should also be made as well.

Now I wonder how many modelers who own one of these vehicles would like to have a model of a truck they have, or a model truck they may want to build for a family member or as a gift to a friend who just bought a real truck, my son recently made me a model of an S-10 pickup like what I have granted it's not the same year but it's a late model close to what I drive, and one more note, I wonder why there aren't any models of  bucket trucks or pole digger trucks  like what the electric utility's use or what the cable companies use as there are model log trucks and tractor trailers, a general blend of these vehicles would be nice to have as a variety of models to have to add to a collection, any thoughts ?   Karl
