'Wet' Tire look
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 1, 2003 7:36 PM
Hi guys,

Cool forum. I have a quick question for you guys. I just picked up the new 350z 1:18 scale model by Autoart (sweeeeet!!!!) and I was wondering if there was a good way to get that 'wet' tire look I get on my real car's tires by using a tire gel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Just like on windows, a little bit of Future floor polish can give that shine. Just brush it onto the sidewall, and be careful not to get it onto the tread. Make sure you let the Future cure for a few days.

Hi, you can use what you would use on real tires, a good coat of armour all. I use it all the time, but just as on real tires, you may have to reapply on occasion. Hope this helps.
