German WWII chassis and frames
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, March 3, 2006 12:03 AM

My project now is scratchbuilding German WWII fire engines, mainly TLFs and LFs, but I've run out of references showing details of the frames of German trucks, especially relating to the front suspension. I'm mostly interested in Mercedes, Bussing-NAG, Opel, Magirus, and MAN. If you can think of a source for this info I'd be obliged if you shared it with me.  I've searched the Internet and bought the book "German Firefighting Vehicles of World War Two", and the Squadron books too, but no luck.   TIA
