GP bikes I wish there were decals for
Posted by wolfpac on Sunday, March 5, 2006 8:45 PM
I am wondering if there was enough interest that we could make a spark and have one of the aftermarket decal companies make them.

I would personally like to build:
M1: 06 Camel, 05 Fortuna, 05 Valencia, 05 Laguna (I believe Tamiya is making this kit)
NSR 500:  Mugello Flower hawiian bike

The Valencia and Laguna are big ones for me.  Any designs you guys/gals want to see?

Wolfpac, you are correct - Tamiya announced that they are working on the 05 Laguna Yamaha at Nurnberg toy fair. As for the Mugello NSR, Italeri made one in that scheme, different scale, though... can't recall whether they made it in 1:9 or 1:6.

Give the guys a chance, pretty sure 06 Camel will be out shortly! And who knows, maybe they'll bring out a Fortuna scheme as well soon.

Hi Erik!

The Laguna Seca GP 50th aniversary M1 will, as it seems, be due late summer or early fall. Will be really interesting.
The Mugello NSR should be due this spring. As far as I know there are several manufacturers working on them, Renaissance being one of them.
I guess we'll have to wait for the Camel bike to enter the scene. The season haven't even started yet and we're lacking a proper base kit.

I too would love to see the 05 Fortuna livery, especially the Miro scheme as it is a real stunner.
Besides that I think I rather long for new bikes than decals. How about an Aprilia or a proper Kawasaki kit? Or just some of the recent Suzukis...?

+100000 On the Suzuki, Kawi, KR Proton and Aprillia.  It would be sweet to build a complete grid.

Decals for Laguna Seca and Valencia M1's MotoGP
Posted by www.ffactor.de on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 11:08 AM

Looks like there has been so much wishing going on for some new decals.

We at ffactor models made decals for the '05 M1's for the US GP and Valencian GP late last year. We also made Gauloises decals to replace the GO!!!!!!!! decals in the kit.

These decals are not in production and not available in shops.

For those of you really interested, drop us a private mail, and we'll see what we can do.

The pictures in our web-site of the M1 is the Tamiya M1 '04, with 7 major modifications.

Happy modelling
