Nah, none of the above, it's obviously a Smurf, yep that's what it is, a smurf, normally used to smurf the smurf onto the smurf when smurfing.

On the bench : Revell's 1/125 RV Calypso

I used to love watching new mechanics search for those squeaky muffler bearings.  Evil [}:)]

In addition to the ever popular "leaverite" as in, "Leave 'er right there."

I'm reasonably sure it's some kind of aircraft electrical component, but wanted to see if maybe it belonged to an early model car or something similar.

Their full name is "thingamajig" and called "thingamajiggies" when found in groups of more than three. Also known as "Watchamacallits" by those who don't know any better.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Clown [:o)]

I had the priveledge last year of doing an archaelogical dig at College Park, Md., the oldest continuously operating airport in the world. Among the many little "bits" of stuff we found were some curious things that look like short pieces of non-metallic wire encased in a carbon or graphite. Click on the link for a photo:

The current technical name for these, of which we found more than 20, is "thingies." I'm hoping that someone familiar with 1900-1930s technology can help us narrow that down a bit!
