Truck identification please
Posted by DanCooper on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 9:38 AM
Hey all, I was hoping there would be someone around who could help me identify the manufacterer of this (Japanese ?) truck.
The picture is of a paper model and I'm wondering if there is a 1/24 plastic kit available of this model.

Dan;

It looks like it could be a HINO. Check Italeri they make many different vehicles you may be able to find it there.

Cheers;

Gregory

Thanks for the info. Hino hmm, never heard of it, and unfortunately Italeri hasn't got one either ; it looks like I'll just have to pick one out that resembles this one Sad [:(]

Yep, that is definitely a Hino. Mitsuwa has the only Hino truck model I know of but it is an older model dump.

I know that the following kits are 1/32, but they are similar to the Hino you posted.

Hi, Up at the top of this page is Megahobby and Internet hobbies, two of the best places to find this or any trucks that you need....Military  1:35 or Civilian 1:24th scale models these two are my favorite on-line Model Suppliers that Ive been buying from for the last Two plus years with No Complaints....Give them a try, I think you'll be happy with both as they have the e-mail from UPS letting you know what day your Packages will be delivered and Ive had no damaged goods from either nor have I had to wait on a Back Order...Good luck.........................."RC"
