Hi everyone this is a work in progress on the 1/6 Tamyia Honda CB750 racer Japanese Domestic racing version 1971.I picked this kit up on the cheap after trying to find one for years and years and years it is huge .Normaly do the 1/12 gp bike .
One picture has the Ducati gp bike in for size (love those Duke's ,heck any Duke)Tongue [:P]

front forks with wheel is 1/9 scale.

I too have been looking for one "on the cheap".  I see them listed on ebay for $90 "Buy It Now".  Insane.  Awesome racer.  The Dick Mann version, the one pictured on the box, won the 1970 Daytona 200.  Beat the big Triumphs of the day.  Keep posting pics.

wow nice bike , ive never built a lage scale bike before.yours makes me want to run out and buy one.

Well have finally got around to doing some more on this ,have got a bit on at moment so
update's are a bit slow.Might finnish this first then finnish other projects (another 4 bike's on the go.











Thats all for now,will go and improve photo's and upload some better pic's

It's interesting to see that Tamiya's 1/12 details isn't too shabby when compared to the 1/6 bike.  (Where'd you get that riding figure??!!!!)  Are those factory chromed air funnels?  and did you paint those throttle bodies  yourself in aluminum?

All parts of engine are as is in kit(bonus)will gave a light wash later.
The rider figure is a carl Fogerty by RPM I think they only made so many and haven't seen one since (brought it about 5-6 years ago ).
If you are after one I have a Tamyia cornering rider figure sitting around here,not to hard to redo as a mordern one Big Smile [:D]

Have done a wee bit more on this,next is cowling,petrol tank .
Will try and add some extra's + some touch up with paint ,till this time next week and should be finnished (I hope)Wink [;)]

dude, use Ctrl+V or Shift + Insert key for pasting the links into your text box during posting, providing that you are using windows.  Ctrl+C for copying and Ctrl +X for cutting.

here is a little bit more this bike is nearly done ,just a few bits and pieces to do.
Have got main base coat down ,just have to mask of for pattern of Japanese bikeTongue [:P]
