Window tinting
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 7, 2003 8:41 PM
I know there's already a lot in this forum about window tinting, but I just bought a 2001 ZO6 'Vette that I want to tint the windows on. I want to achieve the "mirror" effect, if you know what I mean. Either that or the rainbow effect that you get on soap bubbles, if you know what I mean. Any advice?

Ok, no help as of yet.....What about just tinting the windows kind of a light red. Just enough to where you can still see through them, but still have the red tinge to them? Any help there?

There was a thread or two about tinting windows in one of the other forums, maybe techniques. Sorry, I don't recall off-hand. Try doing a search for window tints and they should come up.

Put drops of food coloring or Tamiya clear paints in some Future floor polish.
You can then either spray it or dip it. Go as dark as you like.
I tinted my F16 canopy yellow using this method.
Also good for the tinting of the upper part of windshields.

I know it's only rock and roll, but I like it.
