The only aftermarket decals that I know of are for the Ducati motogp bike and they are over sized and baccy decals for the Biaggi bike that you have (camel marking).Don't know where your LHS got their info from but the Telefoncia bike is readily available where i am.
Forgot to mention before but Italeri are bringing out 8 or 9 new 1/9 gp bikes sometime this year all from 2005 (RCV'S, M1's,and Ducati's)can't wait, more bike to makeYeah!! [yeah].Will have make an extension on to my hobby room later on with all of the new bike's coming out will have no where to put them otherwise Evil [}:)]Shayne

Thanks for the input guys.I'm normally a military modeler but fell in love with the tamiya bikes when I decided to do one as a break from flat paints. I've wanted to do one of the larger bikes for a bit and got the one with the baiggi markings from revell. Sorry I'm not really up with the motorcycle teams and such or even motorcycles themselves they just look waaaaayy cool when they are done. Are there any aftermarket decals for any of the 1/9th scale revell kits? I wanted to do the telefonica moviestar in 1/9th but my LHS says it's been discontinued by his distributor. I saw the ducatti in 1/9th from revell and it looks really interesting too. I'll see if I can get some pics of my first 2 tamiya bikes to show you guys one is the Suzuki Hayabusa and the other is the telefonica moviestar RCV whatchamacallit Blush [:I]

Revell ,Italeri and Protar ,are basically the same moulds ,While they are not of the same standard of the Tamyia 1/12 scale bikes ie; engine blocks are mainly in two halfs while Tamyia have at least 21 pieces.
The tubing is a bit more to scale on the 1/9 bikes, but you have the - screws on the 1/9 bikes instead of the + screws and can be quite fiddly to put in place sometimes.Though the 1/9 bikes do come with a lot of C/F decals and do look great when finnished.
There is a lot of room for sctrach building. I have 3 Ducati superbikes(Revell) a Ducati Monster and Ducati Motogp bike(Italeri)Do have aYZR500 1988 Eddie Lawson 1/9 (protar) which has a metal frame and come with the baccy sponspor ,started it about 5 months ago.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] Some great stuff they are doing in that GB. I'm building a collection of motorcycles myself.

Has anyone built any of the big 1/9 scale revell motorcycles like the honda or yamaha? If so how were they?

Thanks,Tracy
