Does anybody know if there is a model out there that is of a newer model chevrolet or GMC 1 ton pickup.  I need a truck to pull a trailer I am planning on building.  Any brand will work.  Thanks for the information.

I think I remember seeing a late model Chevy dually somewhere, but I honestly can't remember where, or who put it out. I think it might have been AMT and I think it might have also been a snap-tite kit. I know Monogram had up until like 92 a mid 70's-early 80's body style Chevy dually 2500 series. You know the kind that looked like a long box with wide hips rolling down the streetWink [;)]...If I run across one I'll let you know where/what I saw.

Good Luck!

I don't think I have ever seen a Chevy dually, but I know RM makes a Ford F350 Dually.

AMT / Ertl made an early 90's extra cab Dually snap kit. Its out of production but I see it on ebay often. I've picked up 2 and don't think I payed more than $15 for either of them. AMT /Ertl also did a Dodge Dually and Revell makes a Ford Dually. If you want a newer Chevy you could probably bash the 99 Silvarado with one of these Duallys if you put a custom built bed instead of a pickup bed. I've seen quite a few 5th wheel haulers like that (looks a little like a wrecker body).

Yes the 350 Ford as mentioned above!...Its the only one out here that I know of Too!.. I got two of them cause I like the duallie frame and bed..I'm hoping to find a 99 Dodge 3/4/one ton, 4X4 quad Ram like mine so I can add the camper Ive bult..I know I'll have to mount it on the Ford bed, but really would like to have the Dodge Ram Cab on it instead of the Ford....Only Dodge Ive seen is a old one, not the newer cab style....Anyone know if they have a newer Dodge cab style? Not the brand new style, the 97 and above till this past year!......Thanks in advance .... Sorry to steal your post! Here its back to you!..Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]LOL.........."RC"

RC, the only full size Dodge that I'm aware of is the Ram VTS by Revell #7617.

Soon I'll be able to do better and quicker searches. But it's only for in production stuff.

AMT/Ertl made a mid-late 90's Dodge Dually snap kit, its a curbside but not a bad kit. Its been out of production currently but they are still pretty common on ebay

Thanks Jim.....Yea, Dodge isn't as popular as Ford & Chev Probably because of licensing & stuff..Everyones getting their fingers into the pot now days wanting more money ... ha,ha...Thank you for the info I'll check internethobbies.com to see if they have the Revell #7617.. Their about the only ones I've been doing business with  any more...I really like their e-mail telling me what day my stuff will be here...dixieart.com too for my airbrush needs, they do it too..Send a e-mail telling me when it will be here..I can go and take care of business and not miss my delivery's....

When your able to do better & quicker searches.. How about drop'n me a line or two on how your getting it if you don't mind.... I'd like to be able to do a better job of finding what I'm looking for too...If it wasnt for you and the other's help I'd be compleatly lost & still building my models the same old way I did them in my late teen's and early 20's..Ive learned so much from you all..I'm in awe at the wealth of info there is in our forum here at FSM.. "If someone could  bottle the whole site  into a big tutorial on modeling plastic kits of every kind..Its all right here too.....

   Thanks again........."RC"

What do you think?..I think It will look like that little Ford Career flat bed duallie stake bed.. ha,ha.... Ive been writing a letter and didn't go see if internethobbie has one.. I'll do it tomorrrow... its 3:45AM? Darn! Time flys when your having fun....Talk to you all tomorrrow..........."RC"

There's a good idea!! ....That might work too....Thanks for the idea, but I'm talking its a smaller cab than 3/4 or one ton Cab....If I can't fine a big Quad cab though and do find a regular Dodge Ram 3/4 or one ton style I could build a crew cab flat bed dualllie.. Four bucket seats...Streeeeching the frame a little should be fun to build too......"Hunting for & Finding the models is some times as fun as building them".... Thank's......"RC"

I did the opposite with the old monogram ford XLT extra cab 250. I made it into a Reg Cab 250 by cutting the xtra off and sectioning the frame. It was fun!  I even made a crossbed tool box out of sheet styrene. Sometimes you just gotta say......Cool [8D]
