Actually vfxart, there have been many scale plastic concept and prototype automobile models made over the years.

For Chrysler you have the;

MPC Charger III from about 1968. Later converted to the "Flying Dutchman" Funny Car.

MPC Alexander Brother's 1966 Dodge Deora.

AMT Plymouth Prowler (AMT's snap kit was of the prototype).

AMT Dodge Sidewinder.

Jo-Han Chrysler Turbine Car.

From GM;

MPC Astrovette I.

MPC Astro. Later converted to the "Scorpion" Funny Car.

MPC Makoshark.

AMT Pontiac Banshee.

AMT Olds Aerotech.

AMT Titan 90 COE had parts (in original issue) of show truck, complete with turbine engine.

From Ford;

IMC 1964 Mustang II.

IMC 1966 Mercury Cougar II.

This list is by no means complete. These are only the one's I can remember.

Concept car kits?

Just curious if anyone's got into producing resin (I am pretty cerain there are no injection/mass produced) kits of concept cars over the years?

One of the things we hated the most in ID programs was realizing that the models we were sculpting were pretty much never going tobe realized into full scale, and those few that were, well... they got maybe one season of auto shows, then poof...

Anyone ever 'commemorate' any noteworthy (for whatever reason)  future dream machines?
