I would check out the Alcad line of mettalic colors, they are pretty good paints.

Hey guys,

I haven't built a car, let alone a nascar since probably 93.  Anyway, I'm making a tribute for my dad.  He's a huge dale/dale jr fan, even painted his picnic table with their colors.  I am making a few apinting for him as well.  I do acrylics on canvas board.  if anyone has an order please let me know I"ll post some pics when I"m done.

ANYWAY.  I really wanted to make something special.  I was toying with the thought of maybe, painting the entire bodies in a mettellic colors.  It will probably be on some sort of base of course.  That would be thier normal colors with their numbers and logos or something.  I would like to make Dale Jr. a mettalic red, and dale sr, maybe a model master metellizer maybe a dark burnt aluminum or some sort of gold.  Has anyone ever done this?  And if so, what kind of product did you use.  I use a single action airbrush and have taht technique down, just really looking for some good colors or if anyone has tried this.

Thanks All.

God Bless
