Aftermarket coil-over shocks or how do I do my own?
Posted by stuboyle on Thursday, June 29, 2006 3:39 PM

I have been looking for aftermarket coil-over shocks or parts to make them and haven't run across any.  Does anyone make them?

How about making my own? It looks relatively simple; just cut the top and bottom the the kit shock off and stick spring inbetween.  Well, it is slighty more involved.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Stuart

Some of the cheap ballpoint pens have springs that are close to the size needed if tyou are doing 1:25 scale cars and trucks.
