It may be worth your while having a look at this kit

The fold down steps were on the early 4 series Scania's but proved (I believe) to be problematic and so the original steps were reinstated.

Hi There,

We have the latest Scania's here in New Zealand.

Looking at the photo's maybe the kit has a choice on the fold down steps.

We don't bother much with the fold down steps as there to expensive and the dirt gets into them causing problems.

Aussie has the latest Scanias to perhaps someone there could help also.

I would just wait it out and let some one else spend the money on the latest kit.

I have saved a lot of money that way as a lot of kits across the board a not what uou would expect.

Good luck on your quest.

Italeri Millennium Truck query

Hi All

I have a question about what is actually contained in the Italeri kit #3805. There are two common pictures associated with this kit on the Net. One picture appears to be the box art and the other, with a blue background, may be a photo of the actual truck. I have attached (hopefully) both of these pics.

My question is this: The picture with the blue background shows front steps and a certain style of vent either side of the Scania name plate (both highlighted in the attached picture). The box art (purple cloud background) shows no steps and different vents. I need the features as seen in the blue background pic but suspect that the box art depicts what is actually to be found in the kit, which is therefore inaccuarate. Can anyone help please or perhaps direct me to a picture of the sprues or a completed kit? Additionally, is there anyone who is knowledgeable on Italeri Scanias who wouldn't mind if I ask a few questions via e-mail?
