What kind ofairbrush do you have? Make sure everything is clean and your paint is free of "boogers" and is properly thinned (milk thickness) and correct pressure depending on the thickness of the paint this can be anything from 5-60 PSi. Hope this helps.

I started adding more lines to the car last night but I ended screwing some things up do to my airbrush. Stupid thing keeps on sputtering for some reason.

Sorry about the wait but work was complicating things a bit. I am going to have to buy some better tape because the low tack stuff doesn't seem to work to well for the model paint. Other than that tell me what you guys think.

I bought a williams f1 team bmw fw24, and I wanted to paint it in an interesting scheme. The scheme I am thinking about is burberry plaid. In order to do this without ordering too many kinds of paint I need some advice on what colors I should buy without buying too much( I just got into the hobby). I plan on buying 9 colors. The plaid appears to have 5 colors on it. The ones I were going to use were:
-X-31 Titanium Gold
-X-18 Semi Gloss Black
-X-21 Flat Base
-X-7 Red
-XF-59 Desert Yellow

What other 4 colors should I get to paint all the other pieces? Do you think I can replicate the plaid with better colors? Is this idea too crazy?
