I need help and was told by Revell to check here.I'm looking for a 1/24 scale kit that was made in 1977 by Revell. It was a model of a Ford Mustang II ,that was custom modified by Hot Rod Magazine, and was called the "Monroe Handler".It was yellow with a black hood and aluminum wheels. The box of the kit showed the car pulled over by a motorcycle cop,(California,I think). The car was one of three that where actually built and shown around various events.I actually got to talk to one of the owners of the 351 powed models, and he offered to sell it to me,but I of course didn't have the funds.I would like to build the model kit and eventually build a Monroe Handler Mustang II of my own,but will have to work with what I can afford now.If any one can help me,it would be very much appreciated.I can be reached at
richardwashburn71@yahoo.com,or 208-640-6383.I know that there had to be lots of these kits made, and several that never where built. Thanks for any help.
