Hello all,

I'd like to know if anyone knows anything about the above model from minicraft. Thanks,

Jose,

I've got one sitting out in the garage waiting to be built, I could look at any specific things you'd like to know. One thing I do know is that the one I have came with the accesory parts for the Maharaja version as they call it wheel covers for the spare tires and some extra trim work it looks like. Give me  a holler for any questions.

Thanks for the response. Mainly, I want to know how well it goes together, so if you get to yours before I get mine, I'll bug you. I also was wondering if the doors open, if the bonnet (hood) is hinged or does it come off in one piece (ala monogram's classic models), and if there are ignition/spark plug wires.

I'm nearing the end of my assembly of the Lindberg Auburn Boattail Speedster. The kit is just horrendous- I started with high hopes because that is one of my all-time favorite cars, along with the Mercedes 500/540K series, but each step revealed more and more misfitting parts, huge gaps, and as I'm getting toward the end, I'm more and more tempted to pitch the whole thing- no amount effort can rescue this build.

If anyone else has built any of Minicraft's 1/16 scale classic cars, please let me know how well the build went. Thanks!
