Rare is right ! I have only seen one example and that was many years ago and I cannot recall the brand.
Needless to say it was not for sale .
Kits of tractors of any sort seem to be very hard to get.
Most tractor collectors go for die cast in my experience.

Cheers , Pete.

Haven't built it but am curious as to which Fergie it is.  We have a Ferguson we still use around the farm.  They are lovely little things.

It's a TO-20 or TO-30 then.  The TO-35 has a two-tone paint scheme, either beige and green or red and grey.  Ours is a TO-30 that had kits put on it to make it a TO-35. I've got some good refs. bookmarked if your interested.

Hello cassibill, yes please.

I realy don´t know what to do with this old kit it´s in a bad shape and there is no idea to keep it this way. It´s being in my colection for a long time , get it from my mother in the 60´s and she hereself get it from somebody. It´s time to make something about this old kit. Only thing to do i belive is to super detail it, and put it in a diarama.  In all of my days of modeling i never seen annything about this kit, only once somewhere in a magasin, but don´t remember where.

I hope all off you in this forum that have som inf. or remember the kit send my a reply.

If that is an Airfix Fergie, you have the first plastic kit the firm produced!  Originally it was made for Ferguson as a promotional item, but Airfix saw the sales potential and produced it as a kit rather than a made up desk model for the Ferguson dealers to hand out.  One of our members in the Aberdeen Modellers Society has one built in the traditional grey which he takes to our shows occassionally, but guards it well!  An unbuilt copy of the kit is worth around £1,000 !  It is one of the Holy Grail of model collectors.  If it is original Airfix, think carefully about whether to build it or keep it unbuilt as an investment for your grandchildren!

Yes it´s an Airfix, i did see it in an magasin long time ago and there it was. I started building models in the 60´s  and still holding on to it, and understand that it´s a rare kit, i have newer see or heard off it in all this years.  The problem is that it´s already buildt and in a real mess. Don´t realy know what to do with it.

Thank´s Colin for the information, Hasse.

This is a pretty good site with lots of links.  There are photos, wiring diagrams, and a painting guide.  If you need something specific let me know and I'll look through my files.  We're restoring our full sized one so I've pulled a lot of stuff and we've been looking into buying a mantainence manual.  The store's a good drive away and we've not been back.  Keep us posted. I'm a softie to Fergies.

Have you thought about joining the Airfix Group build. I think you'd qualify.
