Finished Pics of Subaru Impreza WRX STi
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 7:54 PM
Finally finished my second car model even though I realized near the end of completion that bugeyed subbies were indeed ugly. Anyways, this is the 1/24 Tamiya curbside kit.

It was built box stock, and primed with Krylon white sandable primer. The primer was wetsanded with 1000 and 2000 grit, washed, and dried. 2 light mist coats of Tamiya Chrome Yellow (TS-47) were next laid down over a period of 20 mins. 2 wet coats were then sprayed on in the following 40 minutes. Paint was then polished and waxed.

Enough talking, on with the pics!

Awesome! Great work! Can that kit be built with left hand drive? Do you have another copy of it to sell or trade?

Well done on a difficult finish. It's very difficult to make yellow look uniform, but you did an outstanding job! Bravo!

No doubt! Killer finish on there!
I like the second to the last photo, looks like all you have to do is unlock it and go!

Great job!

Very nice job, it looks like you have been buliding them for years. Love the subbies, Ford Focus all the way.
