BAR Honda 006 (Studio27 1/20) - Completed Pics
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, September 23, 2006 9:34 PM
Hi guys,

Thought I'd share a few pics of my first multi-media (resin) build.
It's a tad rough around the edges in parts, but for the most part I'm exceptionally happy with it given the challenges I had.

Redfive aftermarket seatbelts were used, which I highly recommend.  I've also used SMS CF decals on various parts.
Enjoy...

Thanks for looking guys.  Any comments or questions are welcome.
Cheers,
Mark

Great build, Mark! I am "finishing up" my first multimedia build and it's quite a learning process. Envious of your finished product!

If I were you. I'd be mighty impressed with that one! Thumbs Up [tup]

Great, clean built! I realy liked that. I have exactly thesame model still sitting on the shelf :) Nice pictures. The only thing I would change (I have forgotten to do that in my Tyrrell) is the exhaust, which might be drilled out.

Congratulations!

Great job! That kit is sitting in the on deck circle for me as soon as I get the McLaren from **ll done. (Anyone care to guess what happens when you pull up masking tape and you didn't get the resin clean?) I digress, quick question for you. Did you go with the red decals or paint the red? That decal set scares the life out of me, but I don't relish trying the mask that off either. Suggestions?

Cut the decal into pieces and use decal solution. It's not as scary as it seemsWink [;)]

I love the look of the BARs. What kit did you use? I got a F2000 Ferrari for Christmas and I think it might need a buddy in the stash
