Completed Mercedes Original Tielle, Skyline, and a whole bunch of Subaru's (Subarii?) photos inside
Good evening;
As a new guy, I welcomed myself in the welcome forum and loved the warm reception I got there, so I decided to share some of my recent work with people who I aspire to build like in the near, or not so near future.
I will start with the one of my favorites. It is the 1998 team Perrson Original Tielle Mercedes Benz. This is Tamiya kit 24214, which is now unfortunately out of production, coupled with Scale Motorsports first ever detail set, as well as about a square metre of their awesome carbon fibre decals, a smattering of Bare Metal Foil, a dash of Alclad, and a boatload of time.
anyhow, on to the show.
Bird's eye view:
The whole reason I bought the kit in the first place, The rear cowl.
awful mean looking front end :D
The heart of the screaming monster
Finally, a profile shot
Now for a few quick pics of other stuff I have built over the recent years.
This is Tamiya's 1/24 R34 Skyline GT-R Z-Tune, I built this straight from the box (with Tamiya's detail set of course)to unwind after that ungodly Merc you see above.
First, a profile shot:
Keeping it to two here, a front end shot:
Three is the new two, I just like her bum so much.
Tamiya's 1/12 scale Renault FW-14b is always regarded as one of their best offerings ever, so I had o buy her, cost be damned. Again, that Scale Motorsports Carbon Fibre decal saved the day here, and luckily for you I only have one semi decent shot of her.
Finally, you will see my Subaru farm, I swear to go, these things are like bunnies. All Tamiya all the time. That is, of course, except for the Italeri hauler.
These ones are fairly self explanitory, so I will let them explain for themselves.
Now, after 3 image hosts and about an hour and a half away from the modelling table, I would like you to add your own, and discuss anything you would like-especially how I made your poor modem bleed from it's ears. Oh, and I look forward to being an active member here for a long time to come.
Thanks,
Sean
