Shayne,

Although most of the modeling subjects deal with aircraft, its all plactic.

 Under HELPDESK look at:

   1.  MODEL CAR.  Painting with real auto paints.

   2.  The Look of Varnished Wood.  ( can be used for wood auto dashes)  or wood trim on classic cars.

3.Using Microballoon and superglue to fill seams in plastic models.

   4.Good to know about superglue

   5. Improving clear parts with Future Floor Wax.  ( auto glass ,headlight and taillight lenses)

6.How to finish an aircraft model in 24 hrs. ( can also apply to cars)  Its all plastic.

   7.Using Model Paints.

   8. How to adjust airbrushes , how to clean air brushes.

   9. How to paint faces. ( car models that include People)

All this information can at some time be applied  to Cars , Aircraft , or Ships. Remember its all plastic. The knowledge and application of different techniques allows one to progress from kit builder to modeler.

My project is a 69 Z/28 Camaro RS.   Hope to post picture soon.

Best of luck on your projects
