Modern Muscle Car Manufactures

Hello Auto Community!

Looks like a fellow winged modeler wants to ask you guys a question!

I was wondering what manufacturer would be able to revamp an old muscle car.  It's just like how Dodge remade their Charger, Daytona, Super Bee, and Challenger, Ford with their Mustang, and now Chevrolet with the Camaro.

I am curious to se who would be able to reissue a Plymouth muscle car.  Because Plymouth is no longer a company, it would be great to get some pointers.

I'm part of a high school club that competes in CO2 Car dragsters.  If you are unfamiliar with CO2 drag racing this website will teach you everything about it.  http://www.science-of-speed.com/  There is a class called transportation modeling which is where you actually model a real motor vehicle.  This year's theme is to create a Modern Muscle Car based on a 1960's or 1970's muscle car.

I personally view a lot of Plymouth cars as great subjects for a revamp!

 Any help would be appreciated!

Dodge owns Plymouth. I think the Plymouth name is still out there, as far as I know. They'd be the ones to reissue Plymouths. However, to be quite honest, I don't see Plymouth restyling their old muscle cars. They seem to be low end of the Chrysler-Dodge-Plymouth chain...

Hey FlyBoy,

Since the DaimlerChrysler Corporation gave up on there Plymouth line, it doesn't look to promising we'll see a reissue.

The closest I think we'll see is the 2008 Dodge Challenger with the Hemi.

I guess for your theme car, you can start with a Cuda and revamp it yourself. After all, the Challenger and Cuda are cousins.  Wink [;)]

Good luck on this years project.  Thumbs Up [tup]
