1986 Chevy Monte Carlo Pro-Street Project
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, November 23, 2006 2:06 PM

Anybody who watches the Pinks TV show knows they get some wicked mean cars. One they had, from episode 2 was a white '86 Monte Carlo, raced by a guy from Florida. It was a very fast car, the best part was it was street legal. I wanted to replicate it, so here it is.

The 1:1 car wasn't a Pro-Street, but I thought it would be cooler to make the model one. I have a lot of modifying to do to make this car work so don't expect this to be finished anytime soon. The engine will be a NASCAR engine.  The color for the Body is Duplicolor Ulta marine blue.  I have a lot of modifying to do, especially with the frame and the interior but I hope to get it finished by February for the Old Dominion Open down in Richmond, VA.

Ok guys.  Here are some pictures of the engine, right now.  I got it from a Revell NASCAR kit but I ran into problems with that kit and it tunred into spare parts.  I plan to tear the engine down and re paint it.
