Hi

My auto interest are the Porsches with engines in a slighly more logical place ie. not the back! I have the Hasegawa 968 and 944 and am looking for a 928. Unfortunately, I know that the Fujimi 928S4 is a curbside kit. Didn't know that Airfix made a 928S4. Saw it in the hoby shop but the owner wouldn't let me break the cellophane. He suspected that the kit was a curbside.

Is the Airfix 928S4 a curbside kit? Does anyone make a 928 with an engine bay? I know about the Tamiya 928 but its ancient, almost impossible to find and is the wrong scale.

Thanks!

Bought the kit anyway!

The kit has engine bay detail but you have to cut the bonnet from the body. No bonnet hinges are provided and the decals are out of register. The body appears to approximate the shape of the 928 though.
